Supporting THE NEW RICHMOND HIGH SCHOOL AGRISCIENCE AND FFA CHAPTER IN NEW RICHMOND, WISCONSIN
Our booster organization works hard to coordinate a variety of events throughout the year to raise money to help support the New Richmond High School Agriscience Program and FFA Chapter. Additionally, our volunteers are active in and outside the classroom assisting with various curriculum needs and FFA activities, such as chaperoning student events.
Here are a few of our annual events:
- Dairy Day: A community agricultural education event in June, featuring breakfast and celebrating Wisconsin dairy and agriculture
- Tractor Pulls: Two antique tractor pull hosted by the FFA Alumni typically during the New Richmond Fun Fest on the second weekend in July and New Richmond Heritage Days on the last weekend in September.
- Plow Day: Annual event, typically in April, to give vintage tractor lovers a reason to use their old iron to plow up the ground.
- Assisting with the Local FFA Banquet: Alumni members assist the chapter and advisor with running the FFA banquet, including helping set up, pick up/serve food and run a dessert fundraiser.
