What we do

Plow Day
Annual event, typically in April, to give vintage tractor lovers a reason to use their old iron to plow up the ground. Learn more here.

 Tractor Pulls
Two antique tractor pull hosted by the FFA Alumni typically during the New Richmond Fun Fest on the second weekend in July and New Richmond Heritage Days on the last weekend in September. Learn more here.

FFA Alumni Food Stand
The FFA Alumni operates a food stand during it's tractor pulls and the plow day. Occasionally it may go to other events in the area to raise additional funds.

Judging Local FFA Member Award Applications
Alumni members assist with judging various award and scholarship applications, including a New Richmond FFA Alumni Scholarship.

Assisting with the Local FFA Banquet
Alumni members assist the chapter and advisor with running the FFA banquet, including helping set up, pick up/serve food and run a dessert fundraiser.

Assisting with Other FFA Chapter and Agriscience Education Activities
When the advisor asks for help with other events, our members step up and assist where help is needed.

Have an Idea?
We're open to new ideas, whether that be fundraisers, events, etc. If it supports the FFA and/or the classroom, it's a possibility. Just bring the idea to the next alumni meeting.

Who can be a member?   Anyone who supports agricultural education and the FFA. You didn't have to wear the blue jacket.
Who are our members?

  • Parents of FFA members
  • Former members, including New Richmond and other FFA chapters
  • Community members who recognize the value of ag education and FFA and may be involved in the food, agriculture or natural resource industry


How to join / get involved:

  • Consider attending an organizational meeting to learn more about our ongoing work. We meet on the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at in the New Richmond High School Agriscience Room

The New Richmond FFA Family, Friends & Alumni is non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting the New Richmond FFA Chapter and the New Richmond Agriscience Education Program. It is an affiliate of the Wisconsin FFA Alumni Association and the National FFA Alumni.

Wisconsin FFA Alumni Mission: To be Wisconsin’s premier Agriculture Education advocate with FFA Alumni support in every community. We envision our diverse, positive, community committed organization to provide resources to support youth development and leadership.
